Workshop Biomass to Chemicals del Núcleo Milenio en Procesos Catalíticos hacia la Química Sustentable (CSC), liderado por académicos de la Universidad de Concepción y de la Pontificia Universidad Católica, se realizó en el Campus San Joaquín UC, en Santiago. Los más de 80 asistentes al encuentro compartieron algunos de los últimos avances en los diferentes procesos catalíticos heterogéneos y fotocatalíticos para obtener combustibles líquidos y productos químicos de alto valor a partir de derivados de biomasa.
